Device Care and Support

Student Expectations

Students are expected to abide by the following expectations when using the device, both in school and out of school as appropriate.
Adhere to the rules and requirements of the district’s Acceptable Use Policy (Board Policy 815).
Follow all instructions from district staff regarding use of the Device.
Bring the device full charged and ready for use each day.
Always handle and carry the device carefully.
Do not remove the devices protective case if a district case is provided.
Store the device in a secure location when not in use, locked if possible.
Do not share your password with others.
Report all damage, loss, or theft to a staff member immediately.
Do not remove any district markings or labels from the device.
Do not alter, change, or jailbreak the device’s operating system.
Remove personal content as necessary to ensure there is enough space on the device for district apps and electronic resources.
Save files on OneDrive, Google Drive or iCloud.

 

Support

Loaner

Should the device become inoperable, a student will be issued a loaner device while their device is being repaired. The loaner device assumes all aspects and policies of the student originally issued device.
