As the Cumberland Valley boys lacrosse team prepares for the spring 2026 season, players are using the offseason to sharpen their skills and stay competitive. Through a mix of individual training and team workouts, athletes are focusing on growth outside of the regular season.

Will Sieg, a Cumberland Valley boys lacrosse player, said much of the offseason is about improving overall performance. “Working on the holes in my game to become a better all around player,” Sieg said. During the winter, he also plays box lacrosse, an indoor version of the sport that helps him stay active and continue developing his skills.

Skill development remains a priority throughout the offseason. “I’m working to improve my off hand,” Sieg said. Along with practicing at home almost every day, Sieg noted that the team participates in strength, speed, and agility programs twice a week to stay in shape and prepare for the upcoming season.
