At Cumberland Valley High School, lunch time sparks mixed feelings. While some appreciate the regular meals, others find the food repetitive and boring. So, do students actually enjoy what’s served, or are they just eating because they have to? To find out, I asked students to share their honest thoughts.

Sophomore James Boyd said, “My favorite food is the cheeseburger. It’s simple and filling, which makes it a reliable choice during a busy school day.” However, Boyd wasn’t a fan of everything on the tray. “One food I really don’t like is the fries; they’re always too hard,” Boyd said.

“I like the varieties of food the school has to offer,” sophomore Michael Calabrese said.

A regular student lunch costs $3.50 with various a la carte offerings available as well.
