On Saturday, May 23rd, the Cumberland Valley and Eagle View Science Olympiad teams competed at the 2026 National Science Olympiad Tournament at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Only the top teams from each state qualify, making this a highly selective national competition. Both teams finished 23rd overall in their respective divisions.

Division C (Grades 9–12) Medalists:
• 1st Place – Code Craze: Neil Peter and Junhee Lee
• 3rd Place – Experimental Design: Sameeha Gaind, Ashwin Sarode and Sahana Sudarsan
• 5th Place – Materials Science: Neil Peter and Dhruv Lochan
• 5th Place – Rocks & Minerals: Siddharth Dendukuri and Junhee Lee

Division B (Grades 6–9) Medalists:
• 1st Place – Botany: Bryan Pham and Zimo Zhou
• 3rd Place – Disease Detectives: Avisha Koppula and Bryan Pham
• 3rd Place – Potions & Poisons: Lakshita Dokku and Raaga Thalapaneni

Both teams represented their schools with strong performances and multiple national-level awards, closing out an impressive season. We are #CVProud of their amazing season.
