The Mountain View Middle School Mathcounts team had an outstanding showing at the Harrisburg Regional Mathcounts, placing 2nd overall! Matthias Lu earned 4th place, qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Mathcounts competition.
Mathcounts challenges students with rigorous individual and team rounds, plus an exciting live Countdown Round where top scorers compete head-to-head.
At States, Matthias proudly represented Mountain View, competing against approximately 150 of the top students from across Pennsylvania. It was an incredible opportunity to challenge himself, grow as a problem solver, and connect with other talented mathletes.
