We’re excited to celebrate six remarkable team members who consistently go above and beyond in supporting our students, especially those connected to military families. This year, they received the U.S. Army War College Excellence in Education Award, a prestigious honor recognizing their outstanding commitment to service, support, and student success.

Representing our district with pride are:

  • Rebekah Schmidt, Military and Family Life Counselor – Sporting Hill Elementary

  • Amy Romano, School Social Worker

  • Yolanda Hack, Educational Assistant – Winding Creek Elementary

  • Stephanie Snyder, 6th Grade Reading Teacher – Eagle View Middle School

  • Katy Urban, School Counselor – Mountain View Middle School

  • Dr. Jessica Petronis, School Psychologist – Sporting Hill Elementary (not pictured)

Joining the celebration were MG David Hill, Commandant of the Army War College (far left), and LTC Priscella Nohle, Garrison Commander for Carlisle Barracks (far right), who helped acknowledge the incredible impact these educators make each day.

We’re grateful for their passion and #CVProud to have such dedicated champions of education and community on our team!
