Text (SMS) Notifications

Cumberland Valley School District uses text messaging as a mode of communication during inclement weather, emergencies, bus delays, and more. If you are new to the District or if you have not previously signed up to receive text alerts, please sign into your Skyward Family Access account and complete the “Guardian Information Update” form. To receive texts, you will need to:

  1. Enter the cellular number for a text-enabled phone in either the phone 1 or 2 field in the form for each parent/guardian in which you want to receive the text messages.
      

  2. It will take approximately 24-48 business hours after submitting the “Guardian Information Update” form in Skyward Family Access to update our communication systems.

NOTE: If you would like to opt-out of text (SMS) notifications, please reply "STOP" in the message thread.

Privacy - We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that support our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
