Mr. Timothy Froelich began his career with the Cumberland Valley School District in April of 2019, when he assumed the role of Assistant Director of Student and Public Safety. In September of 2025, Mr. Froelich was promoted to Director of Student and Public Safety.
Mr. Froelich came to Cumberland Valley with an extensive background in security and emergency management operations. Mr. Froelich also brings nearly 20 years of business management and operations experience to his role.
Mr. Froelich attended Kutztown University in the 1990’s where he studied Psychology. Professionally, Mr. Froelich has received training certificates from the ALICE Training Institute, the National Association of School Resource Officers, the Y-12 National Security Complex as well as various certificates from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Mr. Froelich prides himself on his ability to connect with students, having served 26 years as a varsity high school football coach throughout the mid-state. Mr. Froelich presently serves as the linebackers coach for CV.
