Community Program courses are divided into three categories:  Public Service, Special Interest and Competitive Programs.  The Public service courses are American Red Cross classes sponsored by the District.  No charge is made beyond the cost of membership and the fees required by the American Red Cross.  In special interest classes fees are charged to cover the cost of instruction.  The Competitive Programs include swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo. Membership fees cover the cost of registration and publicity.
