Letter from the Superintendent - August 2018

At Cumberland Valley School District, we recognize that both locally and across the country there has been an upswing in reports of discrimination, harassment, and inappropriate social behaviors. This lack of civility is both upsetting and unacceptable. CV strives to maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students and staff that is free from these behaviors in the classroom and workplace. As a result of this local and national trend, we believe it is important to communicate with our families regarding the three-pronged approach the District is taking toward renewing our efforts to provide such an environment.
