Room Parent Volunteers - We Need You!

Looking for a way to “plug into” your child’s classroom and become more active in the Sporting Hill Community? Help out by signing up to be a Room Parent! Reporting an Absence

You now have a few options to utilize in order to let us know the reason your child missed school.  Remember, one of these three options needs to be completed within three days of your child being absent.

Option #1:  Send in a note.  This note can be in the form of:

• An email to your classroom teacher or Mrs. Hennessey, our building secretary ([email protected]).
• A handwritten note sent to school with your child.
• An attendance form.  Contact Mrs. Hennessey and she will send home pre-printed notes with you or you can access the form here.

Option #2:  Fill out this online Google Form, CVSD Absence Note.

Option #3:  Log into Skyward and fill out the CVSD Absence Note by following the directions below.

Important meeting for grade 4 and 5 strings/band parents:

Attention Parents/Guardians of incoming 4th grade strings and 5th grade band students:

The Cumberland Valley School District Music Department will host a very important meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, to learn more about participation in the strings and band programs. The meeting is in the Cumberland Valley High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) and begins at 6 p.m. for Strings parents and 7 p.m. for Band parents. There will be crucial information given at this meeting. There will also be musical instrument dealers set up following the meeting to rent or sell an instrument to all of those who have not yet obtained one.
