It's a Great Week at Hampden!
CV OPERATION SUMMER
Hello CV! We are 5th graders at Winding Creek Elementary working on a project called CV Operation Summer. The purpose of Operation Summer is to provide summer care packages for the underprivileged living in our CV schools. 20% of CV students live with this hardship; that’s 1 in 5 students! Our goal for CV Operation Summer is for all children, no matter how needy, to have an enjoyable summer. We need your HELP! Please consider participating in one or all of the FUNdraisers we have planned. This Thursday is our first fundraiser -- please stop by Carlisle Sports Emporium May 9th between 5 & 9 pm with a copy of our flyer in hand or on your phone. May 9: Carlisle Sports Emporium Night, located at 29 S. Middlesex Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015
May 16: Bamboo Frozen Yogurt Night, located at 5001 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050
May 20-31: Dave and Buster’s Power Card Sale, for use at any Dave & Buster’s
June 1: Fun Run/Walk, located at Winding Creek Elementary, 34 Bali Hai Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HAMPDEN FIELD DAY ON MAY 15
Hampden Field Day is on May 15 (Rain Date: May 22). Volunteers are needed to help with stations, snacks, decorating and set-up. There will be two Field Day sessions, an AM Session and a PM Session.
