Monroe News:
May 7 – Mother / Son Game Night, 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Return the registration form by May 6.
May 10 – Field Day, 9:30 am – 2:00 pm. Rain date is May 15. You are welcome to come out and cheer on the students! If you plan to come inside the building for any reason, you WILL NEED a badge from the office. To pre-register for a badge, please email either Gail ([email protected]) or Jen ([email protected]). There is only ONE lunch choice for this day - Cheese pizza, carrots and fruit.
May 21 – 4th & 5th grade Spring Concert, 7:00 pm at Eagle View Middle School.
May 24 – 12:00 Dismissal. PM Kindergarten students attend school on this day. AM Kindergarten students DO NOT ATTEND.

Spring Fair – THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make the spring fair a success!
Math Fact Challenge – Read about it here! The challenge ends on Friday, May 10th. Ten minutes of math per day for ten days earns the student free admission plus (2) complimentary tickets for the “School’s Out " night at Williams Grove Speedway on June 7th.
PTO Meeting – Thursday, May 23 at 7:00 in Room 17. We hope you can join us!
District News:
Cumberland Valley School District will transition from CVSIS to Skyward, a new student information system, beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. Parents will be able to connect to Skyward Family Access through an internet browser or app anywhere where internet access is available. It is important to note that Skyward will not replace Schoology and Mastery Connect.
Hello CV! We are 5th graders working on a project called CV Operation Summer. The purpose of Operation Summer is to provide summer care packages for the underprivileged living in our schools. 20% of CV students live with this hardship; that’s 1 in 5 students! Our goal for CV Operation Summer is for all children, no matter how needy, to have an enjoyable summer. We need your HELP. Please consider participating in one or all of the FUNdraisers we have planned. We will see you there and don’t forget your flyers! Click on the links to learn more and stay informed of our events.
