Parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students:
This week we will administer the PSSA which is a state exam required by Pennsylvania. Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will work for approximately 60-90 minutes on testing days. We will test in the area of ELA (English and
Language Arts) on Tuesday, April 23 through Thursday, April 25. Next week we will complete our math testing on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday the 30. Our 4th graders will take two additional tests on May 1 and 2 in the area of science.
Students absent on any of our testing days will be provided a make-up exam which may require taking multiple tests in one day due to a limited window given for testing.
As is true every single day, students work best on a good night’s sleep and a full stomach from breakfast. Please have students arrive on time and avoid any appointments on testing days.
Students should not bring electronic devices with them over the next two weeks - this includes cell phones.
