Message from the PTO: Open Middlesex PTO Positions, 2019-2020 School Year

The following PTO board positions are open for the 2019/2020 school year. The PTO board positions are defined as 2-year terms in the bylaws of the organization. These 3 positions will be voted on in the next PTO meeting on April 9, 2019. If interested, please submit a letter of interest to [email protected] by April 5, 2019. 

 President - The PTO President runs meetings, works with volunteers, delegates tasks, handles CV-wide representation of the Middlesex PTO, and generally pitches in where needed. 

 Recording Secretary - The Recording Secretary's primary role is to keep notes and official minutes at PTO meetings and send them out for public transparency. This person should be proficient with Word or another word processing software as well as feel comfortable parsing conversation into bulleted notes and actions.

 Corresponding Secretary - The Corresponding Secretary's role is to serve as the mouthpiece for the PTO in communication on Facebook and other channels like email. They write thank you notes and generally reach out to people when needed. 

 All roles are expected to be at PTO meetings and to participate where needed with events and PTO functions.
