From the Nurse:

Kindergarten Registration Health Requirements

If you have a child who will be entering school in Kindergarten or First Grade please consider the following necessary health items when registering:

The PA State School Health Law requires all students entering school in Kindergarten or First Grade to have a physical exam, dental exam, and proof of immunizations. Immunizations are required to enroll the child which means the child is accepted into the district as a student, entered into the SIS (student information system) and given a class room / teacher assignment. Dental exam forms and physical exam forms may be submitted at registration, throughout the summer, or at the start of school. (Please note that a list of immunizations does not meet the requirements for a physical exam.)

The necessary health forms for physical exams, dental exams, and medication administration are readily accessible on the CVSD website @ www.cvschools.org  via Student Services / Nurses / Health Forms.

Please contact me if you have questions. Thank you, Mrs. Zoerb.

From Mrs. Fox:

Shaull families, mark your calendars!  This year’s Family Arts Night will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 6-8pm.  Like last year, you will have the opportunity to view our Art Show to see all of the hard work that your kids have put into their art projects over the course of the school year.  Every student in grades 1-5, and our autism support classrooms, will have work on display.  The kids love to be the tour guides at this event, and are so proud to share their work with you!

A new addition for this year will be an art-MAKING opportunity in the cafeteria!  There will be two different projects that your family can work on together, and take home that night!  Directions and materials for both of these free activities will be available that evening.  If you would like to help monitor one of these stations that night, I am in need of about 12 volunteers!  Because families will be creating art together, volunteers will only be responsible for overseeing the distribution of materials for each activity.  Easy!  Please consider volunteering for part of this fun event by using the link below!  Thank you!

I look forward to seeing many of you here on April 4th!
