2019-20 Shaull Elementary Kindergarten Registration:
Online registration for 2019-20 Kindergarten has started. The registration forms are available on the CV Central Registration page -- Click Here for Central Registration. To be eligible for Kindergarten, students need to turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019. Shaull Elementary Kindergarten Registration will be March 14th. Kindergarten Registration Health Requirements
If you have a child who will be entering school in Kindergarten or First Grade please consider the following necessary health items when registering:
The PA State School Health Law requires all students entering school in Kindergarten or First Grade to have a physical exam, dental exam, and proof of immunizations. Immunizations are required to enroll the child which means the child is accepted into the district as a student, entered in the SIS (student information system) and given a class room / teacher assignment. (Please note that a list of immunizations does not meet the requirements for a physical exam.) Dental exam forms and physical exam forms may be submitted at registration, throughout the summer, or at the start of school.
The necessary health forms for physical exams, dental exams, and medication administration are readily accessible on the CVSD website @ CVSD via Student Services / Nurses / Health Forms.
If you have a student who needs medication in school
No prescription medication will be administered to students without a Dr's order to administer the medication in school. (The prescription label is not the order to administer the medicine in school, it is the order for the pharmacist to dispense the medication.) Medication must be brought to school in the original container with the prescription label which legally identifies the medication for the student. Over the counter medication can be given with the written parent permission for up to 3 days, then a Dr's order is required. The CVSD medication policy and medication form are accessible on the CV website mentioned above.
