Welcome Back and Happy New Year, Hampden!

PTO NEWS
Our first PTO meeting in the new year will be on Thursday, January 10 at 6:00 PM in Room 201.

GIRLS ON THE RUN
The Girls on the Run season is quickly approaching! This program is for third through fifth grade girls, and the lottery registration is open now through February 4. Practices will be held at Hampden on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 5:15 PM, and the season will start on Tuesday, February 19. A flyer with more information will be sent home next week. RECYCLE AND HELP SUPPORT OUR EXPLORATIONS PROGRAM!
Note from Mr. de La Barrera:  We are currently collecting the following items for upcoming Explorations projects: Wrapping paper tubes, tissue paper, pens that do not work, miscellaneous old game board pieces (from incomplete sets), newspaper, and bubble wrap. As always, your support is immensely appreciated. Please send in your items with your student or drop them off in the office with “Explorations” marked on them, and if you want to see some of the projects our students have been working on with your donated materials, please check out my Twitter.  Thank you in advance for your support!
