American Education Week 2018

We are excited to invite you to visit Hampden Elementary School during our American Education Week 2018. Tuesday and Wednesday, November 6 and 7, have been designated as classroom visitation days.

Suggested visitation times are:

Grades 1-5: 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM *

Kindergarten: 9:15 AM – 11:15 AM and 1:15 PM – 3:15 PM *

* Due to the number of expected visitors, we would appreciate if you limit your visits to a 30-minute time frame.

We encourage you to pre-register by clicking on the link below so that we can have a badge printed and ready for you. We will print badges at 7:45 am each day. Any pre-registrations after that time will not have a badge ready and visitors will need to stop in the office to have one printed.

Additional Notes:

Refrain from bringing other children to school during classroom visits.

Upon arrival at Hampden, please look for your badge in the lobby before entering the office. If you don’t have a badge, we will need your driver’s license to print one for you.

Upon arrival at your child’s room, go in and have a seat. Teachers will follow their normal teaching schedule. During your visit, remain quiet and silence your cell phone so as not to disrupt classroom instruction.

We welcome you to stay for your child’s special class, if they transition to Art, Explorations, Library, Music or PE during your visit.

If you choose to stay and have lunch with your child, please send a note to the teacher that morning with your lunch choice if you are buying.
