NEXT WEEK AT MONROE:
October 26 - Fall Festivals - 10:15 - 11:15 = AM Kindergarten 2:15 - 3:15 = PM Kindergarten - 5th grade
Please pre-register for the festival by sending an email to either Gail ([email protected]) or Jen ([email protected]).
UPCOMING EVENTS:
November 2 - Fall Picture RETAKE Day - The photographer will be at Monroe Elementary School from 9:00 - 9:45 am ONLY. Any PM Kindergarten student who
needs a retake will need to be brought to school during this time.
November 6 and 7 - American Education Visitation Days - We are excited to invite you to visit Monroe Elementary School. Please find details here regarding
visitation!
November 9 - Veteran's Day Assembly at 9:30 am - If you are planning to attend, please pre-register by emailing either Gail ([email protected]) or
Jen ([email protected]). When emailing, please indicate if anyone attending with you is a veteran!
If you would like to have a picture of a veteran in your family included in our presentation, please email the picture to
[email protected] by November 2 and include the following information: Name of the veteran, branch of service, dates of service and their
relationship to the student. NO pictures will be accepted after November 2.
PTO NEWS:
Our annual Walk for Monroe fundraiser was a HUGE success! To date, the Walk has raised $28,301! Congratulations and thank you to all who donated. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make this such a fun day for the students and staff!
Due to the success of the Walk, the PTO will NOT be offering the candy fundraiser next spring.
FROM THE NURSE:
When you see notes or paperwork come home from the school nurse, please try to reply as soon as possible. I am often required by the state of Pennsylvania to report student data. Having the most up-to-date information for all students ensures that I am providing the state with accurate details.
