Spring
Session for STILES
The Cumberland Valley High School
STILES Club is pleased to offer after-school foreign language classes at your
elementary school. Teams of high school language students will be teaching
basic language and culture via fun activities and games. To maximize limited
resources (high school students, parent chaperones, etc.), we will be combining
languages into groups. Your child will be exposed to two foreign languages and
cultures, and will be making connections between them.
These courses are being offered to
fourth and fifth grade students on a first come, first served basis, as class
size is being held to 25. All classes will be held from 3:45 – 5:00 p.m.
Students registering must be committed to attending all 6 classes. Parent
volunteers are needed (1 per session) to stay and assist with clerical duties
as well as dismissal. If there are no parent volunteers, the session will be
canceled.
At this time, we are scheduling Session
2 which will be held the weeks of April 3rd (right after the spring
break) to May 8th.
If you have any questions, please
contact Lan Ziegler at [email protected], high school language teacher.
