Welcome back to another SUPER week at Hampden!

WINTER CONCERT
Our Winter Concert will be held on Thursday, January 18 in the Eagle View Auditorium at 7:00 PM.  Students need to be at Eagle View by 6:45 in the cafeteria for warm-ups.

SCIENCE CLUB FOR 4TH & 5TH GRADES
Fourth and Fifth Grade Parents, be on the look out for flyers and permission slips that came home today with your students for our Hamdpen Elementary Science Club!  All Hampden 4th and 5th grade students are invited to participate.  The Science Club will consist of eight (8) Tuesday meetings, beginning on January 23 until March 20, from 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM in our Cafeteria. Please note that spaces are limited to a maximum of 30 students and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to view the flyer and permission slip online.

HAMPDEN MATH 24 CLUB FOR 3RD, 4TH & 5TH GRADES
Back again by popular demand is our Hampden Math 24 Club, featuring Math 24 Coaches Mr. Leidigh and Mr. Shafer.  The flyer and permission slip will be coming home with all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students this week.  To accommodate all students, we are offering two (2) sessions (Wednesday Session & Thursday Session) which will begin February 7 and run through March 22.  Click here to view the flyer and permission slip online.

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
We continue with our Jump Rope For Heart campaign which runs through February 15. To register your student, click here and he/she will receive a free wristband.  Donations can be made online or can be sent into school in an envelope marked with your student's name and "Jump Rope For Heart."

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Please remember to send your children to school dressed appropriately!  Students will go out for recess if the temperature (with wind chill) is 17 degrees or higher.

When conditions dictate that unscheduled closings, delays, or early dismissals are in the best interest of student safety, CV will announce information via the automated telephone system, on our website, www.cvschools.org, and through our official social media feeds (see below for official links). Please note: Text messaging is currently not available as this was a feature offered through our old website provider.
