Good Morning Middlesex Families,
May your holidays sparkle with moments of love, laughter, and
goodwill, and may the year ahead be full of contentment and joy. Merry

Holiday Socials:
Thank you to all of our volunteers that made our Holiday Socials a huge success! Without your support, we could not do all of the fun things at Middlesex for our students!
PTO Dinner Nights:
Thank you to all families that came out and joined us for our Hoss's Dinner Night out!! We raised $219.88 from the event for the PTO!
Schoology Reminders...
Upcoming changes to teacher webpages
On January 1, Cumberland Valley School District teachers will begin to use Schoology as a replacement to the teacher
webpages that were a component of our previous district website. Schoology is
an integrated learning management solution that provides course management,
mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication. This transition is necessary
as our former website provider will no longer support teacher webpages
effective January 1, 2018.
As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the
Schoology platform. Your parent account will allow you to oversee all of your CV students through a singular login and will
allow you to set up notifications that meet your personal needs. Schoology also
has a free app which allows you to access your account through a
smartphone.
Please visit www.cvschools.org/parents for more information about what Schoology can do for students, parents,
and teachers. There, you will find a “Getting Started with Schoology for
Parents” document and a link to Frequently Asked Questions regarding our use
and implementation of Schoology.
Verify your primary email address by December
22, 2017
On
January 2, 2018, your primary email address listed in CVSIS, [EmailAddress], will receive an email from [email protected] that contains your own Schoology Parent Account login credentials to access Cumberland
Valley’s system. Please
note: Effective January 2, the primary email address in CVSIS will also become
the parent account login for elementary families to access Mastery Connect.
If the email address listed above is not your
preferred primary address, please do the following: Log into the CVSIS parent portal at https://parentsis.csiu-technology.org/cval.
* Go to My
Account (little person icon in top right corner).
* Under the Personal
Information tab, select the radio button that says Primary Email for the address you want to designate as primary and
click Update Personal Info.
* If you want to add another email address and
make it your primary email, click the Add
Email button and enter the new Email
Address, Email Type, select the Primary Email radio button. And then,
click Update Personal Info.
