Thank you to all of those families
that joined us at Green Ridge Elementary for American Education week! We hope that you
enjoyed your time visiting in your child's classroom and had the opportunity to
learn about some of the things that your child does on a daily basis.
Thank you to the families that joined us for our Veterans Day Program as
we recognized and thanked our Veterans. Our 4th and 5th grade students worked
extra hard to prepare for the celebration and did a great job! Thank you to Ms. Mackley, our music teacher, for organizing the event.
Junior Achievement is a
worldwide nonprofit organization that presents important life skills through
hands-on educational materials focusing on financial literacy, entrepreneurship,
and work readiness. We are looking for classroom volunteers to help in the
following classrooms: Mr. Bucher, Mrs. Willier, Mrs. Witte, Mrs. Wescoe, Mr. Piazza, and Mrs. Stroup. As a classroom volunteer, you will discover the
benefits of having a direct impact on local education and the fun of sharing
your life experiences with a classroom full of students.
