What a busy week at Hampden!

Our snow flurries earlier this week remind us that cold weather is coming!  Please remember to send your children to school dressed appropriately!

VETERANS DAY ASSEMBLY
We are honored to welcome immediate family members who are veterans to our Hampden Veterans Day Assembly tomorrow!  Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to celebrate our special guests!

AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK
Thank you to all of our American Education week visitors!  We are happy you could share some of your days with us!

ART FROM THE HEART
Tomorrow is the last day to order reproductions of the Hampden art projects that our students in Grades 1-5 produced for charity.  Proceeds will be donated on behalf of the Hampden community to the American Red Cross for the hurricane relief efforts in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.  Order forms can be downloaded here. 

KINDERGARTEN QUILT
Each year the kindergarten classes do monthly service projects.  This year with the hurricane devastation we decided to do an extra one.  All children in kindergarten made hearts and they were sewn together to make our quilt.  Monies from the raffle will be given to the Red Cross for hurricane relief.  The quilt is displayed in the lobby or can be viewed by clicking here.  Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased in our office.  The drawing will be November 21.  Thanks in advance for your support!
