Welcome back to another SUPER week at Hampden!

STUDENT PICTURES
Student pictures are scheduled for this Wednesday, September 20.  Picture forms were sent home last week.  If you'd like to order online, please go to www.mylifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID LT918157Q0.  Picture retakes are scheduled for October 25.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Our PTO Ice Cream Social is scheduled for this Friday, September 22 at 6:30 pm on the back playground.  We hope to see many of our Hampden families there!

EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP POLICIES
Some reminders of the district policy for Educational Trip Requests:
(1) A student will be permitted to take not more than (2) educational trips per school year, not to exceed a total of (5) school days.
(2) An Educational Trip Request Form should be completed and returned to the office at least (1) week prior to the the trip.
(3) Educational trips will not be approved during PSSA Assessments- (April 9th to April 20th for 3rd and 5th grades and April 9th to April 25th for 4th grade)
(4) The Farm Show (January 6-13, 2018) and "Take Your Child to Work" day (April 26th, 2018) are considered educational trips for which a form must be completed and pre-approved.

If these guidelines are not followed the educational trip will result in the recording of an unexcused daily absence(s) for those days absent. If you have any questions about these guidelines, please contact the school office at 717-737-4513.
