SOCIAL MEDIA 101

Socktober
Sporting Hill is once again a drop off location for a local Socktober event! (www.happysocktober.com) Due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, this year's event will begin now and will last through the end of October. All donations will be sent to Clear Creek Independent School District, which is southeast of Houston. They are a high-performing suburban school district, much like CV. They serve over 40,000 students in over 40 schools.
Many families lost everything they have and many of their schools have been significantly damaged. To help, this year's Socktober event will be collecting clothing, personal hygiene items, school supplies, and gift cards. If you are able and willing to help, please drop your donations off in the collection box in the lobby of Sporting Hill. You can also search for 'Socktober Camp Hill' on Facebook for more information or to share with your friends and family.

Friday, September 29: Family Yoga Night
- Family Yoga Night at 6pm in the gym. This is an exciting new event at Sporting Hill! The whole family is invited to join us for a fun and relaxing hour led by Kidding Around Yoga with Erika America. (https://kiddingaroundyoga.com/erikaamerica/) Bring a yoga mat or towel if you'd like; bottled water will be provided by the PTO.
