Educational Trip Request Reminders

Hello Middlesex Families,
Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend! I wanted to remind you of the district policy for Educational Trip Requests:
(1) A student will be permitted to take not more than (2) educational trips per school year, not to exceed a total of (5) school days.
(2) An Educational Trip Request Form should be completed and returned to the office at least (1) week prior to the the trip.
(3) Educational trips will not be approved during PSSA Assessments- (April 9th to April 20th for 3rd and 5th grades and April 9th to April 25th for 4th grade)
(4) "Take Your Child to Work" day (April 26th, 2018) is considered an educational trip for which a form must be completed and pre-approved.

If these guidelines are not followed the educational trip will result in the recording of an unexcused daily absence(s) for those days absent. If you have any questions about these guidelines, please contact the school office at (717) 249-5586.
