    • TEAM LETTERS
    • Team assignment letters were mailed out this week. This mailing does not include specific student schedules, but it does notify students to which team they have been assigned, as well as general start-of-school info. Specific student schedule information will be available in the CVSIS Portal a few days prior to the start of school.

    • MATH PACKETS

All students entering grades 6-8 should complete the practice math packet for the corresponding math course to which they were recommended. Math packets are available for download on the district website by clicking HERE.  Incoming 6th graders should complete the Math 6 summer packet, unless otherwise notified by letter (last month) about taking a different math course. The answer keys are available for download as well.

    CVSIS UPDATE

Please take a moment now to update your child's contact information and publicity release on the CV SIS. To access, login at www.cvschools.org/cvsislogin. Note that contact verification has been reset and will need to be completed upon first login/access of a student. The verification process allows us to collect important signoff information as well as helps to ensure that we have the most up-to-date contact information for your student(s). If you need assistance logging in or completing this process please email [email protected] with all relevant information for your help request. If you use the forgot password feature, please note the email will be sent from [email protected] and may go to your junk/spam mailbox.

    VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES

Would you like to volunteer for a school event or chaperone a field trip next year? As you may be aware, PA legislation requires school volunteers to obtain clearances for these school-related activities. Summer is a great time to take care of this if you haven't done so already so that you will be good to go when and if you are needed. Please click here for information about obtaining your clearances.

Note that hard copies of all 3 of the clearance requirements must be submitted to the school before you are allowed to volunteer. Also, note that the clearances are good for 5 years. If you've already completed the clearances and turned them in you should be good to go for 5 years.
