(June 8, 2021) - Following an in-depth screening process and a series of rigorous interviews by our administrative team with numerous highly-qualified candidates, Cumberland Valley’s Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Dr. Robyn Euker to the position of Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. This position was created as part of a realignment and curtailment of three Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology administrative positions.

Dr. Euker currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Big Spring School District. She is expected to begin her employment at Cumberland Valley on July 19, 2021.

“I am excited to join the CV team and have the opportunity to directly impact the community I live in,” said Euker. “I am confident the K-12 Cumberland Valley experience prepares graduates to serve their communities, country and the world and look forward to ensuring curriculum, instruction and assessment continues to adapt and meet the needs of all CV graduates in the future.”

Dr. Euker brings substantial experience in the alignment of curriculum across K-12 as well as in strategies for increasing student engagement through innovative instructional practices. During her time in the Big Spring School District she has overseen curriculum development, professional development through Big Springs flexible professional development process, and also served as the District Assessment Coordinator for the Keystone Exams.

Dr. Euker also previously served as an assistant principal as well as a dean of students at Central Dauphin East High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, Dr. Euker taught Health and Physical Education at CD East High School. Before beginning her educational career, Dr. Euker served as the Active Communities Director for the Penn State Hershey Center for Nutrition and Activity Promotion.

Dr. Euker earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and also holds a Masters of Public Administration from Villanova University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. Dr. Euker is a CV resident and has two children in Cumberland Valley School District, both at Monroe Elementary School.
