The following update was sent via CV E-news on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Dear CV Parent/Guardian,

We are writing with a friendly reminder, if you haven’t already done so, to please log into Skyward’s Family Access Center ( and complete the online forms for each of your students before the school year begins. Completion of these forms prior to the first day of school will help us to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of your student(s).

Upon successful completion of each form, you will see a new tile appear on your Family Access home screen with the header of either “submitted” or “completed.”

Submitted: This new tile indicates to you that the form has been submitted and indicates to our staff that the information is ready for internal review. Once reviewed/approved by our staff, the secondary tile will be removed from your view and your updated information will be reflected in the Family Access Center.

Completed: This means the information is automatically approved and has been reflected in the Family Access Center. This tile will remain in your view.

Please note that you only have to complete each form once for each student. However, medical and emergency forms will be available all year and will show “new” in the green bar so that you are able to update this information as necessary at any time throughout the year.

You are able to view the history and processing of all of your forms from the main menu by selecting “online form” and “my online forms history.”

Dear CV Parents/Guardians:

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we process the individualized emails containing unique login credentials for your Skyward access. We would like to take a few moments to provide an update on this process and to address a few common concerns/issues.

Password reset link has expired:
Some parents have expressed that, upon clicking the password reset link, they have received a message indicating that the link has expired. Should you receive this message, please use the “Forgot Password” feature on the login site. You need only submit the forgot password request once. We kindly ask that you please be patient in awaiting the password reset email. Should you continue to experience login issues after using the “Forgot Password” feature, please contact the CV HelpDesk (Incident IQ Guest Portal or 717-506-3393).

Skyward login email has not been received:
Unfortunately, it is taking longer than anticipated to process the individualized emails for all families districtwide. If you have not received your individualized email by Monday, August 5, 2019, and you have checked your junk mailbox, contact the CV Helpdesk ( Incident IQ Guest Portal or 717-506-3393).

Grading component of Skyward:
Parents will continue to use Mastery Connect throughout the year to access their elementary student’s grades. Parents of secondary students will access grades through Skyward.

Action steps in Skyward:
Upon receiving your login, please access Skyward to complete all of the important back-to-school forms that pertain to your student, including health information, emergency contacts, and annual required sign-offs. It is imperative that we collect this information annually to help ensure your student’s health, safety, and welfare.

As a reminder, Skyward Family Access will allow you to view student schedules, teachers, homerooms, attendance, discipline, and grades (secondary students only). Please note that bus routes will be available through Infofinder. You can go to the district website and click the transportation icon for more details.

The following was sent via CV E-news on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Dear CV Parents/Guardians:

In the next 24 hours, you should receive an individualized email providing you with login credentials and directions to access our new student information system, Skyward Family Access. Skyward Family Access will allow you to view student schedules, teachers, homerooms, attendance, discipline and grades. This email will be sent to the email address that we currently have on file in Skyward.

Please make sure you have added nore[email protected] as trusted senders in your email application.

If you have not received the email by Monday, August 5, 2019, and you have checked your junk mailbox, contact the CV Helpdesk at Incident IQ Guest Portal or 717-506-3393 for further assistance.
