WEATHER RELATED TRANSPORTATION GUIDELINES
Weather related school closings and delays:
- IF CV delays school openings by 2 hours due to weather –
- Transportation for all non-public school students will also be delayed by 2 hours. Stop times will be two hours later than normal.
- IF CV schools transition to Remote Learning or are closed due to weather –
- No transportation will be provided for non-public school students.
- IF CV schools close early due to weather –
- Non-public schools will to contacted with pick up times for all CV students that utilize CV transportation. Students will be transported home via the normal pm mode (direct or transfer system.)
- IF Non-Public School has delayed opening due to weather but CV does not –
- CV will not be able to provide transportation due to overlapping vehicle requirements.
- IF Non-Public School closes early due to weather concerns but CV does not –
- Once contacted by the individual school, CV will pick up those students as quickly as possible recognizing that bus and van drivers must first be contacted and vehicles may be in use at the moment requiring last minute substitutions.
