COL(Ret) Ryan Seagreaves was born and raised in Allentown, PA, and attended Allentown Central Catholic High School. He graduated from West Point in 1998 and commissioned as an Armor Officer. On October 1st, 2022 he went on the retired rolls with over 24 years of Active-Duty service.

Career Timeline:

1998-99: West Point, New York.
  Graduate Assistant Coach, Army West Point Wrestling

1999—2002: Fort Hood, Texas. (3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division)
  Tank Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Tank Company Executive Officer in 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry.

2003-06: Fort Riley, Kansas. (3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division)
  Brigade Assistant S4, and M1A1 Tank Company Commander in 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor.

2006-09: Fort Knox, Kentucky. (16th Cavalry Regiment)
  Small Group Instructor, Maneuver Captains Career Course and Chief of Tactics, Armor Officer Basic Course.

2009-10: Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
  Student, Command & General Staff College

2010-12: Fort Campbell, Kentucky. (3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault))
  Squadron Executive Officer of 1-33 Cavalry, and 3rd Brigade Combat Team Executive Officer.

2012-15: Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. (II Marine Expeditionary Force)
  Exchange Tour with USMC. Chief of Plans, II MEF, and Senior Watch Officer, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade.

2015-17: Fort Carson, Colorado (2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division)
  Cavalry Squadron Commander of 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry.

2017-18: Fort Polk, Louisiana. (Operations Group, Joint Readiness Training Center)
  Cavalry Squadron Task Force Senior Trainer

2018-22: Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania (U.S. Army War College)
  Seminar Instructor and Course Director of “Theater Strategy & Campaigning.”

Colonel Seagreaves deployed overseas in every troop assignment throughout his career, including two combat tours in Afghanistan (2015-16, 2010-11), two combat tours in Iraq (2003-04, 2005-06) and two operational deployments to Kuwait, just before and right after 9/11.

Notable among Colonel Seagreaves’ awards and decorations are the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal (w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Meritorious Service Medal (w/Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), the NATO Meritorious Service Medal, the Combat Action Badge, and the coveted Ranger Tab.

Colonel Seagreaves has a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Army War College in 2019 with a Masters in Strategic Studies. He has completed Armor Officer Basic Course, Armor Captains Career Course, Command & General Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College.

Colonel Seagreaves and his wife Samantha are the proud parents of 4 children: Brandon (21), Abigail (19), Gabriel (14) and Ren (13)
