Primarily, I support students, staff, and families at Good Hope Middle School and Sporting Hill Elementary School. I have been a Nationally Certified School Psychologist for ten years.  The 2011-12 school year is my eighth professional year of service as a school psychologist with the Cumberland Valley School District.   

I grew up in Carlisle, PA and attended Carlisle Area School District.  Upon graduation, I matriculated to Shippensburg University and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.   I attended Millersville University and earned a Master of Science, plus thirty credits, in Psychology with Pennsylvania Certification and  National Certification as a School Psychologist.

I live in New Cumberland, PA.  My husband, Steve, has been the borough manager for New Cumberland Borough for 33 years.  Our oldest daughter, Jennifer Caron, is a corporate attorney in Harrisburg, PA with Eckert, Seamans, Cherin, and Mellott.   She recently married and is expecting her first child in September.   Our oldest son, Scott, received his Masters form Boston University School of Medicine in Neuroscience.  He is a neuroscientist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Our younger son, Shaun is attending Millersville University majoring in Business Management and Finance. Our youngest daughter, Chelsea, attends Cedar Cliff High School with the West Shore School District as a junior.  She plays tennis and swims on the Cedar Cliff teams.  She is focusing on photo journalism.

Our family has a golden retriver named Sandy.  We enjoy piano, swimming, tennis, and golf.  Our favorite activity is going to the beach.  I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with my family and friends.
