How can the technology coach help me?

Your technology coach can:

  • help you use a computer application more effectively
  • troubleshoot a problem you are experiencing with a particular program
  • locate appropriate resources for you within the district
  • give you quick advice on a technology related problem
  • find web sites that are useful and relevant to your curriculum
  • help you develop a technology-integrated lesson
  • co-teach, team teach, or model a technology-integrated lesson
  • be on hand to support you as you teach technology-integrated lesson
  • provide individualized technology training based on your unique needs

2. How do I schedule an appointment with a tech coach?

3. Can you install software for me or fix my broken computer?

Unfortunately, I can not install software for you or fix your broken computer.  I can only offer instructional support.  If you need software installed or need to have repairs made to your computer, you will need to place a work order via the work order link on the IntraNest

Note: At the beginning of the year, all work orders are to be placed with the building secretaries.

4.  I lost my training manual. How can I get another copy? 

Staff members may login to the Intranest and click on Tech Tips located on the left hand side navigation bar.  You will find all of our tech tips and training manuals sorted based on topic, difficulty level, and keyword.

5.  A website that I want to use with my class is blocked, what can I do?

If the website appropriate for student educational use, you may email webfilter@cvschools.org.  Be sure to include a link to the site you would like unblocked with a short explaination of your intended use with the students.
