Welocme to the 2011-2012 school year. Fifth grade is a year filled with many exciting educational experiences in both curriculum and social concepts.

  In order for your child to be the best they can be, it will take a lot of cooperation from a lot of people.  As a teacher I  can and will supply all the correct tools for success, however the children need to supply the effort.  Effort will and can improve achievement!

Please allow 20- 30 minutes each evening for home study time.  Find a place that is good for your child's learning needs.  It is good practice for the children to review each evening what they did in all classes for the day.  There is never a night with NO HOMEWORK.  Do not wait for a test date to be announced...just know that all information they learn will at some point be evlauated for retention.

Please look at your child's agenda book each evening and take an interest in what they did in school that day and what needs to be completed for assignments.
