Welcome to our classroom!

We are a second grade classroom. We are busy learning many exciting skills.  Along with all of our academic skills we are working on, we are also stressing working cooperatively and taking responsibility for ourselves.  You will find that your child will become more independent as they progress second grade.  You may visit this Web site at your convenience to see the many varied activities we are doing. 

Our science is the FOSS Program.  It is very hands on and the children love it. We will be looking at - Insects, Pebbles, Sand and Silt and Balance and Motion . 

In our social studies program we will learn about ourselves, families, groups, and communities.
