I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg State College. I have been teaching first grade for 23 years.  My first six years I taught in the Central Dauphin School District.  Then I stayed home for 13 years to raise my children. Since returning to teaching, I have taught for 17 years in Cumberland Valley.  I enjoy the younger children and try to make their school day as fun and rewarding as possible.

I live in Camp Hill with my husband, George.  My younger daughter, Becki, is a counselor for Teenline, part of Holy Spirit Hospital.  She is also a real estate agent working with her father.  My older daughter, Jen, stays at home with her 2 children.  My granddaughter, Reese is 5 years old and is in Mrs. Walter's kindergarten class here at Sporting Hill.  My grandson, Finn is 2 years old.  Jen is a professional photographer.
