Are you interested in making a difference? Pennsylvania will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of  Earth Day by inviting students to participate in the Earth Day 40 Challenge. This is a state-wide contest encouraging creative, interesting, and beneficial projects to promote environmental health. Registration deadline is January 29, 2010. The final project submission deadline is March 30, 2010. Details can be obtained by going to www.iConservepa.org/earthday40. Are you interested in art? The Pennsylvania Middle School Association is sponsoring an art contest for local students. They are looking for original student designs to be used on notecards for the PMSA State Conference. The entry deadline is February 5, 2010. Details can be obtained by going to the PMSA website www.pmsaweb.org. Click on Awards and Grants; then click on Note Card Contest.
