We are a looping classroom.  Looping is the practice that allows a teacher to be with the same students over a two-year period of time.  Our classroom loops during the first and second grade school years.

When entering our self-contained classroom you will come to experience a community of learners, involved in every phase of the CV curriculum.  Our day begins with a Morning Meeting, where we gather together in a circle to meet and greet each other, plan the day, and share important events in the life of each child.  Included in the day are recesses and lunch.  The children work in the computer lab once a week.  Students’ meet with specialist teachers for Art, Music, IMC, and Physical Education.
