Welcome to Third Grade! 

I want to take a moment to introduce myself to you.  My name is Jessica Sanders and this is my fourth year here at Cumberland Valley.  Previously I spent  four years teaching in the Halifax School District.  In Halifax I started as the second and third grade Title 1 reading specialist and literacy coach for grades K-5.  Then I returned to the classroom, teaching third grade.  Prior to my time in Halifax I worked as a substitute teacher in Carlisle.  I also spent four years teaching Kindergarten in Harrisburg.  I am thrilled with the opportunity to teach a little closer to home and feel this is a truly great place to teach!

      In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and relaxing at the beach.  I also have a lab puppy and 2 cats that keep me quite busy!

I love teaching and interacting with children and am looking forward to spending this next year with your child!
