Third grade is a transitional grade. The students begin to receive letter grades and start to become more independent learners. We do many group activities in science and social studies but the individual students are accountable for the information learned.

 Third grade is an exciting and fun year. Many of the activities are still group oriented but the students do start to become more independent. I hope the children in my class enjoy this year as much as I do.
