I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I attended Shippensburg University and earned both my undergraduate and master's degrees in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in the Cumberland Valley School District for 30-plus years. I started at Sporting Hill Elementary teaching first grade and then after 5 years made the move to third grade. Both of my children have graduated from Cumberland Valley High School and I am very pleased with the education they received while attending school in this district.

In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and traveling to the beach. I also have two golden retrievers that keep me quite busy.
