Outside of school, I have many interests. I love to read, do Yoga, walk, garden, and cook.  Recently I learned to can food so my shelves are full of tomatoes, beans, and vegetable juice, ready for the coming winter.  I sing in my church choir and volunteer for many other activities at my church. I play the violin in a string quartet.  We play for weddings, receptions, parties, and other special events.  

I am the proud mama of three kitties - Emmy Rose, who flirts with everyone, Jackson, who is the smartest of the bunch, and Murphy, my Bad Boy.  I also have many nieces and nephews who keep me busy attending concerts and sporting events.  Ask me and I will tell you stories that will make you laugh!

I am excited to be teaching Special Interest students again this year!  There are so many new ideas to explore and topics to research.  I look forward to spending time with all of my students creating our big adventure this year!
