Thanks for coming to find out more about me!

It's hard to believe that this will be my fifth year teaching fifth grade at Sporting Hill Elementary!  Time flies when you're having fun!  It seems like I can't get away from school.  I got my bachelor's degree many years ago from Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College.  A few years ago, after working in human services for years, I decided what I really wanted to do was teach, and I had to return to school.  To get certified in Elementary Education, I attended Wilson College.  Now I am continuing my education by pursuing a master's degree in education through Shippensburg University.

When not attending classes or going to school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and our three cats. My son is going into 9th grade this year! Where has the time gone? 

Two of the best things about teaching is that I have the opportunity to meet new students and families every year, and I get to learn something new everyday!
