My name is Mrs. Peterman.  I am the school counselor at Silver Spring  Elementary School. 

I graduated from Messiah College with a BA in Biology Education and taught high school biology and other sciences for 5 years.  I received my M.Ed. in counseling from Shippensburg University and have been enjoying my job helping young children here in Cumberland Valley school district for the past 14 years.

I live near Boiling Springs with my husband and dog.  I have two adult children - a son who is living in metro DC and a daughter who is working in India. 

I enjoy spending time with my children when they are home from college, playing with my dog Annie, ballroom dancing with my husband, reading, playing the piano, and making quilts.
