My name is Mrs. Peterman. I am your school counselor. My room is in hall C near 3rd grade.  Many students stop by just to say hello. Some students stop by and make an appointment to talk with me about many different things.

Talk to the counselor if:

	you are unhappy, angry, frustrated, scared, or confused,
	you are having difficulty with friends,
	you are not doing as well with schoolwork as you want to be,
	someone is hurting you,
	you are concerned about someone else,
	there is just nobody else to talk to.

How do I make an appointment?   

You may come to my room during recess or ask your teacher if you may come talk with me.  I will then schedule a time for you.  If I am not in my room, please leave a note for me in the basket on my desk. I will come find you as soon as I can.  I'm looking forward to getting to know you even better!
