Dear Cumberland Valley families.
 
Below is a link to a video message from our Superintendent, in addition to a few important updates and reminders:

• Elementary families: If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to complete the technology access survey that is accessible through Skyward. Information was sent to your email yesterday (Tuesday, March 17). This survey is for parents/guardians of elementary students only.
 
• We will continue to provide grab-and-go lunches for all of our children during the mandated closure. As shared previously, bagged meals will include lunch, a drink, and a breakfast bar for the next morning. Meals will be available via an outdoor drive-thru service. Per federal regulations, students must be present during pickup. Meals are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the following locations: Hampden Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Middlesex Elementary School, Sporting Hill Elementary School, and Cumberland Valley High School*. Contact the Cumberland Valley Food Service Department at 717-506-3318 with any questions. *Locations subject to change. Communication will be issued should there be any changes
 
• We are currently experiencing difficulties publishing new content to our District Facebook page. If you don’t already, please consider following us on Twitter (@CVSDnews) for news, updates, information, and the sharing of photos. As always, we will update our website with the latest information regarding the mandated school closure and we will continue to use email, phone, and text as communications options.

• All of these updates will be posted to www.cvschools.org/coronavirus. We are also updating our parent/guardian FAQ as needed.

(3.16.20) - Email to families

Dear Cumberland Valley families:

As we have said many times, the health, safety, and welfare of our students, our staff, and the greater CV community is of paramount priority. This includes ensuring access to nutritional meals during the school day.

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Cumberland Valley School District will prepare meals for any student up to age 18 during the mandated closure. The bagged meals will be available at five drive-thru sites throughout the District. The bagged meals will include lunch, a drink, and a breakfast bar for the next morning. Meals will be available via an outdoor drive-thru service. Per federal regulations, students must be present during pickup.

When:
Monday-Friday (beginning March 18, 2020) during mandated school closure - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where:
Bagged lunch available at any of the following drive-thru locations: Hampden Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Middlesex Elementary School, Sporting Hill Elementary School, and Cumberland Valley High School.*
