Who we are:  The Sporting Hill Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer group of Sporting Hill parents and teachers.  Every parent/guardian with a child enrolled at Sporting Hill is a member of our PTO.  We are led by an energetic group who make up the Board.  Each year these Board members are nominated and elected into their various positions.  The many parent and teacher volunteers we have are what make our group a huge success!  Please contact us if you have any questions. sphpto@cvschools.org

Goals:  Our main goal, as stated in our bylaws, is to promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school and community.  We also strive to improve the lines of communication between the home and our school community.

Events:  The Sporting Hill PTO hosts a variety of events including holiday parties, book fairs, family activity nights, school assemblies, student field trips and of course our popular May Fair.  We also help the Sporting Hill Staff by providing them with extra funds for their classrooms.  We are able to pay for these activities through a variety of parent and community supported fundraisers.

Volunteers:  Of course we couldn't do any of these great things without great volunteers.    We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities with varying time commitments.  The PTO meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the teachers lounge.  We welcome new members and ideas.  Please join us!
