Sporting Hill - Learning to BE a better version of ME!

Dear Families,

Responsive Classroom is an approach that we are using at Sporting Hill.  Through morning meetings, interactive modeling, and reinforcing, reminding, and redirecting language we are building a positive community.

For the past two weeks, I have worked with a group of students to develop our school-wide rules for common areas.  Students, who were called delegates, brought their classroom rules to the mini-conventions.  The delegates discussed their hopes and dreams for Sporting Hill.  What did they really want our school to represent...to feel...to be?  Then delegates wrote their classroom rules down on chart paper, discussed the rules that they thought were the most important, and identified FIVE School-Wide Rules for Sporting Hill Elementary School.

Without further ado...I would like to introduce you to our school-wide rules!
